If cancellation is made between 30 days and 8 days prior to your experience, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of camp tuition.

Cancellations within 7 days of the camp experience will result in the forfeiture of the full camp fee.

Cancellation FAQ's

If camp is canceled, will I get a full refund?

If SpringHill cancels your event, we’d like to provide four options - three of which assist us in continuing to create life-impacting experiences for young people. We would greatly appreciate your consideration in making a donation of what you've already paid, or moving what you've already paid into a future event.

In the event of camp cancellation, your options would include:

  • Donating what you've already paid as a tax-deductible donation
  • Moving your registration to a later 2024 summer experience with a $175 discount*
  • Moving what you've already paid into a 2025 event, ensuring your spot for a future experience with a $175 discount*
  • SpringHill providing a full refund

We’ve never turned a child away due to financial reasons and we’re committed to that even more today. If you or your family’s financial situation has changed, we will work with you to assure your child can still attend SpringHill.

*This discount only applies to overnight camp experiences and will be the only discount applied to your account. It cannot be stacked or combined with other discounts.

If SpringHill does not cancel an event, you are responsible for cancelling. In this case, the cancellation policy will go into effect. This helps us plan well and ensure that we know how many kids will be attending the event.

How and when will I know if my experience is cancelled? (Cancellation schedule)

For overnight experiences, we will be making cancellation decisions on a rolling schedule. If your week is cancelled, you will be notified via email on that date and given options for your registration.

What events have been cancelled?

The following events have been cancelled for 2023 so far:

  • N/A

You will receive an email if you were signed up for a cancelled event. If for some reason you did not receive a message, please email our registration team at info@springhillexperiences.com so we can help you with your cancellation.

Is the cancellation fee I paid based off the cost of the event, or just what I have paid so far?

Cancellation fees are based on the full tuition of the event.

What about my trading post account?

We do not charge any cancellation fees on anything but the tuition for the event, meaning that money put in trading post accounts will be refunded.

When will I get my refund?

Since we are expecting a higher volume of refunds at this time, and because our credit card system only allows us to issue a certain amount of refunds per day, you may not receive your refund for 10-11 weeks after you cancel.

We understand that this might cause stress on your family. If that is the case, please reach out to our registration team at info@springhillexperiences.com, and we will do our best to accomodate your need.

The card I paid on was compromised, can you issue the refund to a different credit card?

As a security measure, our system will not allow money to be refunded to anywhere but the card that issued the payment. If this is your situation, please let our registration team know.

I have special circumstances, is there anything that can be done to lessen my cancellation fee?

Our team is happy to talk through your situation to see if there is anything we can do. It may be possible to apply some of the cancellation fee to a future registration in specific circumstances.

We’ve never turned a child away due to financial reasons and we’re committed to that even more today. If you or your family’s financial situation has changed, we will work with you to assure your child can still attend SpringHill.

I am a youth leader, how does this work if I am just canceling some spots for my group?

For group events, cancellation fees follow the same formula as above. So, if you are 10 days out from your retreat, and you cancel 3 spots that cost $150 each, then you would have a cancellation fee of $225 applied and would be able to get the remaining $225 back
